Piano Teacher in Cincinnati
Diana is Ukrainian born pianist currently based in Cincinnati (OH), USA. She was
born in 1995 in Ternopil (Ukraine). Diana graduated from Mykola Lysenko Lviv Music
Academy in 2018, where she studied with Oksana Rapita. She is a laureate of many international
competitions: Competition after Myroslav Skoryk (Ukraine, 2016), the award “Golden
Parnassus” at the XII International Piano Forum “Bieszczady without borders” (Poland, 2017),
the II Prize at the VIII International Siegfried-Weishaupt-Klavierwettbewerb competition
(Ochsenhausen, Germany, 2018).
As a soloist, she performed with National Presidential Orchestra of Ukraine, Academia
Dell’Arco Chamber Orchestra (Poland), Kyiv Symphony Orchestra, Lviv Festival Orchestra,
College-Conservatory of Music Symphonic Orchestra.
She took lessons with such pianists as Andrzej Yasinskyi (Poland), Martin Lysholm
Jepsen (Denmark), Matti Raekallio (USA), Lily Dorfman (Israel), Philippe Giusiano (France),
Kevin Kenner (USA), Daniel Shapiro (USA).
The geography of the pianist’s tour includes Ukraine, Poland, Germany, Denmark, Spain,
USA, Belgium.
Since 2017 Diana is participant of the Vere Music Fund Grant Program. In 2019 she
received scholarship from Richard Wagner Society for participation at Bayreuth Festival 2019.
Diana was awarded the Graduate Incentive Full Scholarship for 2019-2021 academic years by
University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music. In 2021, Ms. Chubak began her
doctoral studies under the guidance of Awadagin Pratt. CCM has recognized her with a graduate
assistantship to support her studies.
