String instruments are both elegant and beautiful in their sound and appearance. TMS offers lessons in violin and viola to beginner to advanced students in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky community. Lessons can be done online or in-person (masks required). Like most instruments, studying the string instruments improve memory, critical thinking, and problem solving skills. Students will learn proper motor coordination, posture, perseverance, and discipline while studying a string instrument. Our string instructors all have an accredited music degree and have years of experience teaching their instrument(s).

For the past decade Preston has been offering private lessons at home, to students as young as 3 yrs old to retirees. Music education is something that he believes should be available to everyone, and catered to fit the needs and goals of those learning it. Preston had good teachers that pushed, encouraged, corrected, and challenged, but most importantly, really loved sharing music with others. It is a gift that we just have to reach out and acquire.
